is not easy to confront your own dark side and to change your
behaviour. Therefore some people do not try at all and do not allow
critic or hold on to the misery willingly. However, if we only ever look
for the guilt in others, we produce new conflicts and do not solve
them. Self- |
1. Most of the time we have the choice
between activity and inactivity and between talk and silence. What do
you decide for? Are you ready to take responsibility? If we sit out
issues or talk them down, this only leads to all the issues exploding at
the same time and us being swamped.
2. Everything is easy. Listen to your heart. We have made everything in the world so complicated with our countless theories, rules of behaviour, procedures and complex approaches. We have lost ourselves in this whole bunch. There you will find no sense. Begin to let go of that which is no longer beneficial for you.
3. There will not be a saviour, who is going to take us to a new planet. Acting the way we do we would only destroy everything, too, again. The saviour is within you, it is your own development, your own getting mature, which cannot be done by anyone but you. The point is to recognize our own behaviour patterns, to accept and correct them. If somebody did that for us, we would not have learned our knowledge and would not understand why certain things happen to us. It is important to allow painful truths and not to whitewash our own behaviour. To forgive ourselves, let go and act differently in future brings about healing and opens our heart. Thus the mastery always takes place within you.
4. A major problem is our intellect. It likes to have it comfortable, rather holds on to misery, for it is familiar, or it sits in the comfort trap where it does not have to do anything. It does not like change and rather doubts everything that has the smell of it. It is better to calm down the limited intellect and ask courage to come. The intellect keeps us down and is stuck to old, mostly negative experiences. However, we cannot make a loving decision full of fear. Therefore, have the serenity to accept things you cannot change and the courage to change the things you can.
5. Give up addiction for harmony: Stop trying to please everybody, for this does not work as everybody has his own ideas and views. You are going to be sick when you constantly bend over backwards for others, who cannot be pleased anyway.
6. Stop judging. Imagine you see a man staggering and suddenly falling down. What would you be thinking? Perhaps you think that he is drunk and you leave him there. But perhaps he needs your help as he is sick.
7. You are the centre of your life. If you want a change, you have to do something for it.
8. See the beauty of creation in every being. In human beings, in animals and in Mother Earth. Stop divide and making differences.
